In celebration of International Jazz Day guitarist, Stephen Magnusson, and trumpeter, Eugene Ball, are proud to present a set of new compositions and improvisations. Though they are dear friends and musical colleagues with a rich and long-standing history, the opportunity for them to perform in the intimate duo setting is a rare and treasured opportunity.  Eugene Ball was a finalist in the National Jazz Awards 2003 and Stephen Magnusson was a tied winner with James Muller in 2000.

 

This performance is presented by the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues. The Festival board and artistic team are looking forward to staging the 30th Anniversary Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2020.
