A Great Rack and an Empty Reverb

6:00 – 7:00pm, Sunday 4 November, St Pat’s Hall

Charting the territory between jazz and stand up comedy, Great Rack and an Empty Club Reverb is an existential tryst between Maria Moles (drums/percussion), Adam Halliwell (guitar/synth) and Emily Bennett (vocals/effects rack). The group flirts with madness in such an engaging way that you’ll find yourself halfway through the set before you know it. It’s kind of like a New York comedy club in a weird parallel universe. Or something. In a very good way.

“At times comical, at times completely unsettling, the end product is a fascinatingly free journey that balances an experimental unpredictability with quirky humour quite masterfully” – Francis Tait, Trouble Juice
