2:00- 3:00pm, Saturday 3 November, St Pats Hall

The Red Hands have reunited after a long hiatus for this special show at Wangaratta.

This stellar line up first came together in Sydney when the best jazz gig and the best blues gig in town were a couple of hundred metres away from each other on Parramatta road; the Side On Cafe and the Empire Hotel.

On a Wednesday night, punters would wander from one to the other in the set breaks for a change of scene and a quick schooner, hoping to catch the other band in full flight. This is when The Red Hands was born.

Drawn together via a shared love of some of the same records, the band take their cues from the likes of Grant Green, Wes Montgomery, George Benson and Ernest Ranglin. Expect a high energy, exciting performance that showcases the exceptional musicianship this band is known for. This is a rare chance to catch the Red Hands riding high once again.
